OPC stands for "other people's cigarettes." This self-initiated project pokes fun at the 'bummers' of the cigarette world, and if you smoke, you know what I'm talking about.
There is always that one person who takes a smoke break with "the crew," never has his own cigarettes (because he "doesn't smoke"), and then bums a cigarette from you. It gets old, right?!
This project was my way of funneling out that frustration I see in other smokers. I am not a smoker, however, I was around enough smokers in my life to see the interaction between 'bummers' and cigarette-buying citizens.
I have created a simple logo that utilizes the tobacco colors with a retro feel. The stationary paired with this company is sleek, stylish, and to the point.
There is a box that can be bought. When someone realizes he or she is a 'bummer,' he can buy a box and a matchbook. If he bums a cigarette, he'll likely smoke it right then. But if he bums two cigarettes, where will he put the other one? With this empty box, he can have a place to store the extra, and it won't get destroyed or lost. And he will have a way to light it later. We all know 'bummers' never have their own lighters either!
...because they always taste better than your own.
